Counsellors @ The Annexe

Galina Markova

Psychotherapeutic Counsellor
BA (Hons.) 1st Class in Integrative-Relational Counselling
MA Conversion Course in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and Counselling – On-going

Working with adults, young adults (18-25), adolescents (11-16), children (5-10)

I practice integrative approach to therapy, which focuses on the relationship between the therapist and the client. My theoretical background combines the three main modalities: humanistic, psychodynamic and behavioural. I use a range of creative approaches such as art and play therapy particularly when working with children and young people.

At the heart of my philosophy is the belief that each human being has the capacity to heal itself. The therapeutic relationship facilitates the conditions for this self-healing capacity to develop. So my aim is to create a safe, warm and non-judgemental environment, where the client, an adult or a child, finds the space to explore, shape and master their experience.

I have worked with a range of presentations such as anxiety, depression, panic attacks, self-harm, suicidal ideation, autism, trauma and bereavement. Psychological pain however may take many other different forms. My goal is to offer the one therapeutic relationship, which is needed to break the struggle of coping in isolation.

Gail Kimmings

Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist (MA, MBACP).
Working with adults 18+

Feel free to get in touch to arrange a no-obligation reduced rate first session. With a Master’s degree in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy, I work with adults (18+) and am experienced in providing both short and long term therapy; offering weekday, evening and weekend appointments.

The way in which I work is described as ‘integrative’ which means that I integrate different strands of therapy to offer a bespoke approach based on each individual and their unique circumstances. The core therapeutic models which I draw upon in my work are person-centred therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), relational-psychoanalytic and attachment theory.

Paramount to my practice is providing a warm, non-judgemental and empathetic setting for you to feel as comfortable as possible. Sessions tend to be on a weekly or fortnightly basis for 50 minutes and we will review our work together at regular intervals.

My experience includes supporting individuals facing a wide range of difficulties, such as: abuse, anxiety, bereavement, depression, OCD, panic, relationship issues, self-esteem, stress and trauma.

In addition to my private practice, I am a volunteer Counsellor and Psychotherapist for the Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (RASASC), a local charity supporting survivors of assault and abuse to rebuild their lives. I have also worked extensively with mental health charity, Mind, offering short-term counselling.

I believe strongly that psychological therapies should be accessible to all and aim to keep session costs low. Additionally, I offer concessionary rates where possible. Please contact me for details.

Susanne Rosset

Integrative Counsellor – MBACP Registered
Working with Adolescents (11 – 16 year olds), Young Adults and Adults

I believe we are born and grow up under the influence of others, such as family, friends and our social environment, which can have a lasting effect on how we behave, relate and react. Sometimes this has a profound impact on how we see and value ourselves, and others.

My approach to counselling is integrative, which means I am trained in a number of therapeutic approaches and I can adapt to suit each client’s needs. I am passionate about giving each person a safe and non-judgemental space to speak freely, but also to gain insight into their own life and understand complex thoughts and feelings.

I am a qualified counsellor with experience of working with children, adolescents and adults in both one to one and group settings. I am committed to delivering client led counselling to enable my clients to make informed decisions about their life and to reach their full potential.
As well as offering one to one counselling, I also run a number of mental health groups, supporting both young people and adults with anxiety and depression.

I have years of experience in supporting people with a variety of challenges, such as stress, anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, BPD, EUPD, PTSD, body image, drug and alcohol misuse, self-harm, loss, bereavement, panic attacks, low self-esteem, separation, suicidal thoughts, trauma, anger and a range of learning difficulties.

I am trained and qualified in offering counselling to people aged 11 upwards and hold a recognised membership with the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy)

I believe the first step to seeking counselling can be the hardest, so let me help you with the next steps.

The sessions can be provided in person, by telephone/mobile or via Zoom.

I have my own private counselling room in Fleet town centre and I also offer a limited number of sessions in Odiham along side “Walk and Talk” therapy.

Please feel free to get in touch to see how I might be able to support you.

Simon Cook – Find Clarity Counselling

Humanistic Counsellor working with adults 18+ (MBACP)

Maybe you don’t want to burden people close to you with your troubles or perhaps friends and family don’t quite understand? As a trained professional I offer warm support to help you find clarity and get to the root of the issues.

When it comes to therapy, I believe that developing our self-awareness allows us to choose and change the way we want to think, feel and behave in life. It sounds simplistic when it’s written down like this but I know from my own personal counselling that this process can take a tremendous amount of patience, dedication and commitment. The results though can be literally life changing.

It takes courage to explore our inner thoughts, challenge our existing behaviours and look closely at our relationships but it’s worth it to reach a point of clarity, a place of contentment and a state of happiness in life.

We can either meet in-person for sessions or online if you prefer and I look forward to welcoming you soon.
