Project Worker – Hart and Rushmoor Young Carers Project

Do you have experience of overseeing a youth activity programme and working with the families of young people?  Could you also work with social care and educational professionals where required?  Would you be interested in a role with flexible working hours and the option to work mainly during term-time  If so, Hart Voluntary Action would love to hear from you.

We are looking for a part-time Project Worker for our Hart and Rushmoor Young Carers project to join our small team of staff and volunteers delivering respite club support and family support for young carers aged 8-17 years.   The Project Worker will be specifically responsible for delivering a new term-time only young carers club in Yateley from June 2018 at the earliest, so must be available on Monday evenings.  The post is for 25 hours per week during term-time plus an additional 75 hours outside term-time

This is a month fixed-term contract to 31 March 2019 – extension subject to funding

Information: 25 hours per week, which includes Monday evenings during term-time and other occasional evenings or weekends for outings and residentials by agreement.  Salary £24,531 FTE, pro rata for 25 hours per week x 43 weeks paid over 12 months is equivalent to £1,204 per month.
