Minding the Garden Workshop – Introduction to Pressing Flowers – 4th August

Come along and join our new practical and interesting workshop – Introduction to Pressing Flowers on Thursday 4th August 10.30 – 12.00 am at the Community Garden.

Discover how to press flowers and leaves to create unique cards, pictures and bookmarks.

This is a relaxed and friendly workshop, where you will have the opportunity to get tips and advice from Jacki, who has been pressing flowers for many years and knows just how to get the best results.

You will be able to use either a wooden flower press or the traditional method of a heavy book !

This workshop will include an initial table-top session, a stroll around the Community Garden to pick flowers and foliage, as well as afternoon tea.

You will also have the option to book on a ‘follow-up’ workshop, where you will be able to create something to take away with you.

*Under cover in the beautiful Gazebo or in one of our two polytunnels. This is also a great opportunity to meet others and explore and enjoy the garden. Compost loo is open for business as usual ! Parking is available.
