Hampshire CVS Network: New Online Directory of Digital Resources – we need your feedback!

Keeping up to date with what’s new on the internet or digitally is a full-time job (headache?), and there are new products and offers becoming available for charities and not-for-profit organisations all the time.

For our sector, keeping up with the latest information technology, choosing the right  online platform for your organisation’s needs, or selecting some software from the whole array that is on offer, can be intimidating and, if you get it wrong, costly too.  This can be a barrier to change, or to trying out new ways to raise your profile, attract new supporters and raise funds from new sources.

We hope that the Hampshire CVS Network Resources Directory, which is now available to view, will help you narrow down your search, and perhaps introduce you to some resources you were not aware of.

This directory specifically focuses on products and support that you can access online, and includes some that are specific to the Hampshire voluntary, community and social enterprise sector.

Some of the categories covered in the Resources Directory will help you:

• Collect donations/direct debits online
• Manage contacts with your members and supporters
• Allow you to advertise yourself to prospective funders and donors
• Access new software and digital services at a fraction of the commercial cost
• Create web-pages or web presence for your organisation (we know there are still many of you who do not have your own web-site)
• Quickly link to practical information about setting up and running a not-for-profit organisation

We will keep adding to the directory, and here is where you can help.  We would like to share your real experiences (good and bad) of using these digital resources, so you can reassure or inspire other Hampshire groups to give it a go.
