Coronavirus – Covid-19 – Volunteering

Hart District Council, Hart Voluntary Action and Hampshire County Council are working together to co-ordinate efforts across our area to organise volunteers for those who need help.

Thank you to the 700+ amazing people who have volunteered to support the local efforts. Hart Voluntary Action has already matched a number of volunteers with volunteering opportunities, and are continuing to process existing applications. If you have submitted an expression of interest to volunteer, please be patient.

Hart Response Hub Covid-19 Volunteers

The Hart Response Hub is a joint initiative between Hart District Council and Hart Voluntary Action.  Hart Voluntary Action is registering key volunteers (those who are co-ordinating other volunteers) working at the parish level so that their activity is covered by our public and employer’s liability insurance.  Volunteers who fall into this category will have signed a simple volunteer agreement and either shared this with their parish lead or sent directly to the Hart Volunteer Centre team.
