Walks are led by trained volunteer leaders and last approximately one hour. We recommend, though, that you allow two hours in total because we like to finish with a relaxing hot drink and a chat for those who’d like to socialise a bit longer.
Terrain will be mixed but dependent on the walk. If you require a walk on flat ground, please contact us so that we can advise which walk is most appropriate.
We won’t ask walkers to hike, though! Our walks take place on footpaths (but are usually muddy, so please wear appropriate footwear).
Please arrive 15 minutes before the walk starts.
If you’d like to join a walk then registering is really simple. All you need to do is download a registration form, here, and bring it along fully completed to your chosen walk.
If you don’t have access to a printer, then our walk leaders carry paper copies for you to complete on the day.

Hart Health Walks is no longer registered as a Walking for Health walk-scheme, so all walkers new and old will be required to complete a new registration form for insurance and communications purposes.
