About us
Hart Voluntary Action is a local charity supporting the voluntary and community sectors in Hart District by offering one-to-one information, guidance and training; as well as information updates, networking opportunities and volunteer recruitment.
Our aim is to the support the voluntary and community organisations with their capacity to deliver services and activities for the local community.

We regularly publish updates from our members in our Hart Matters newsletter and promote their work through our quarterly Voluntary Sector Forum.
We run the Hart Volunteer Centre, which matches local residents looking to volunteer with hundreds of volunteering opportunities provided by voluntary and community groups in Hart and the surrounding area.
Working in collaboration with Rushmoor and Basingstoke Volunteer Centres, we also manage Volunteer North Hampshire with hundreds of local volunteering opportunities available at any one time.
Hart Voluntary Action is funded by Hampshire County Council and Hart District Council to provide this support as a Council for Voluntary Services. Working with the Local Authority, we develop and run our own services in the community to support residents in North East Hampshire and immediate surrounding areas, where an unmet need has been identified.
