The Traveller Project
The Traveller Project - The Community Fund is funding the project worker post, for three years.

Diana is working with Gypsies on the two sites, Penny Hill and Star Hill, as well as the housed Travellers in Hart. He is supporting the children in schools and creating appropriate projects i.e. to encourage family learning, literacy and IT skills. Health issues are also being addressed.
Sam works closely with many agencies including the Traveller Education Office, Yateley Library and the New Forest Bus Project.
The Traveller Forum meets regularly and holds a yearly open day when approximately sixty agencies meet with Travellers to discuss traveller issues.
