What is HVA?
Hart Voluntary Action is a registered charity whose aim is to support, help and promote community provision in the Hart District. We are governed by a Management Committee of trustees who are elected at the Annual General Meeting by members of HVA.
Why join HVA?
As a member, you will have access to all the resources on offer such as office equipment, a library, seminars, training days and help and advice on funding. In addition, you will have the right to become part of our governing body and determine our role within the community. We spend much of our time networking, negotiating and advising the voluntary, statutory and independent sectors and whilst we do not claim to “represent” the voluntary sector, we are seen as being representative of it. Therefore, the more members we have, the greater our credibility.
Who can join HVA?
Any community group or voluntary organisation that operates, or has an interest, in the Hart District.
How much does it cost?
Membership is FREE!
