We are very pleased to welcome the British Red Cross Mobility Aids Service for Fleet and Aldershot to the Hart Volunteer Centre Hub on the 1st Floor of Hart Shopping Centre.
Last year they loaned out 200 pieces of equipment to local residents. The service provides short-term (up to 3 months) loans of wheel chairs and other independent living aids for people with a disability or who are recovering from surgery or an illness. There is no charge for this service although a donation is always welcomed. Returning loaned equipment is also easy. The volunteers are available for you to collect your loans and talk you through how to use your equipment each weekday morning from 10.00-12.00.
So please call 01252 810774 for more information, search for Mobility Aids at www.redcross.org.uk or view this video for more information.
