Who we are
Hart Voluntary Action are a membership organisation providing services and support such as information, liaison, representation, development work and training for voluntary and community groups in the Hart District and surrounding areas.
Membership is free and organisations that join can raise their profile in the community and have increased access to other networks. Just take a look at this website to get a flavour of all the help that we can provide.
So if you are setting up or running a voluntary or community group, contact us now and get the advice and support you need to make your organisation a success!
HVA also manages the HART VOLUNTEER CENTRE which promotes through its database, its membership organisations and their volunteering opportunities.
Any voluntary or community organisation providing a service within Hart can become a member of HVA for FREE. For more information call 01252 815652.

Dementia Friendly Communities in Hampshire
Fleet High Street officially becomes a dementia-friendly high street on 26th February 2014

HART CHAIRMAN'S AWARD SCHEME
During the past seven months the Hart Chairman’s Award Scheme has recognised and rewarded organisations and individuals, from across the district, going above and beyond the call of duty to help others in, or for, the community in Hart.
There is still time to make a nomination, however, the final deadline for nominations in this year's Hart Chairman's Award Scheme is Friday, 28th March 2014.

HIWCF Announces its funds for 2014
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Foundation the following grant schemes open:
• The Apprenticeship Scheme
• Orchid Environmental Fund
• Red Funnel Travel Scheme
• Blue Lamp Trust
These funds cater for a wide variety of community groups and a large cross section of society, including young, elderly and disabled people. Start thinking about what projects you would like to receive funding for in 2014 now, and go to http://hantscf.org.uk/grants.aspx
